Epichlorohydrin Detection Tubes 5/b (5 - 80 ppm)
For short-term measurements more than 160 Draeger-Tubes are available to measure the spot concentrations of specific gases. Measurement usually takes between 4 seconds and 15 minutes. The tubes are used either manually with the Draeger-Tube Accuro Pump or automatically with the Draeger X-act 5000.
A wide range of different gases and vapors can be detected and measured, such as:
- Determining and measuring concentration peaks
- Measuring personal exposure in the inhalation area
- Detecting leaks in pipelines, gas installations etc.
- Air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces

Cross Sensitivity: |
Other chlorinated hydrocarbons are indicated as well but with different sensitivities. It is not possible to measure epichlorohydrine in the presence of free halogens and hydrogen halides in the TLV range because they are indicated as well. Petroleum hydrocarbons cause low readings. |
