Ethylene Oxide Detection Tubes 1/a (1 -30 ppm)
For short-term measurements more than 160 Draeger-Tubes are available to measure the spot concentrations of specific gases. Measurement usually takes between 4 seconds and 15 minutes. The tubes are used either manually with the Draeger-Tube Accuro Pump or automatically with the Draeger X-act 5000.
A wide range of different gases and vapours can be detected and measured, such as:
- Determining and measuring concentration peaks
- Measuring personal exposure in the inhalation area
- Detecting leaks in pipelines, gas installations etc.
- Air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces.

Styrene, vinyl acetate and acetaldehyde are indicated with a yellowish brown discoloration.
It is impossible to measure ethylene oxide in the presence of ethylene glycol and formaldehyde because they produce the same discoloration. |
Additional Information: |
The reagent ampoule must be broken before carrying out the measurement. |
