Hydrogen Sulfide Detection Tubes 1/d (1 - 20 ppm, 10 - 200)
For short-term measurements more than 160 Draeger-Tubes are available to measure the spot concentrations of specific gases. Measurement usually takes between 4 seconds and 15 minutes. The tubes are used either manually with the Draeger-Tube Accuro Pump or automatically with the Draeger X-act 5000.
A wide range of different gases and vapors can be detected and measured, such as:
- Determining and measuring concentration peaks
- Measuring personal exposure in the inhalation area
- Detecting leaks in pipelines, gas installations etc.
- Air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces

Cross Sensitivity |
500 ppm hydrochloric acid, 500 ppm sulfur dioxide, 500 ppm ammonia or 100 ppm arsine do not affect the indication.
Methyl mercaptan and ethyl mercaptan change the entire indicating layer to a pale yellow. when mixed with hydrogen
sulfide the reading is extended by approx. 30 %. |
Evaluation: |
reading on the (n= 10) scale = ppm H2S |
