Hydrogen Sulfide + Sulfur Dioxide Detection Tubes 0.2%/A (0.02 - 7% vol)
For short-term measurements more than 160 Draeger-Tubes are available to measure the spot concentrations of specific gases. Measurement usually takes between 4 seconds and 15 minutes. The tubes are used either manually with the Draeger-Tube Accuro Pump or automatically with the Draeger X-act 5000.
A wide range of different gases and vapors can be detected and measured, such as:
- Determining and measuring concentration peaks
- Measuring personal exposure in the inhalation area
- Detecting leaks in pipelines, gas installations etc.
- Air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces
Hydrogen Sulfide + Sulfur Dioxide Detection Tubes 0.2%/A (0.02 - 7% vol)
Standard Measuring Range: |
0.2 to 7 Vol. % |
Number of Strokes (n): |
1 + 2 desorption strokes in clean air |
Time for Measurement: |
approx. 2 min |
Standard Deviation: |
±5 to 10 % |
Color Change: |
brown ?> pale yellow |
Temperature: |
0 to 40° C |
Absolute Humidity: |
max. 40 mg H2O / L |
Reaction Principle: |
H2S + I2 ??> 2 Hl + S2 SO2 + I2 + H2O ??> 2 Hl + H2SO4 |
Cross Sensitivity: |
All substances oxidized by iodine are indicated, but with different sensitivities. It is impossible to measure hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide in the presence of such substances. |
Extension of the Measuring Range: |
Using n = 10, divide the reading by 10; the measuring range will be 0.02 to 0.7 vol. % |
