Phenol Detection Tubes 1/b (1 - 20 ppm)
For short-term measurements more than 160 Draeger-Tubes are available to measure the spot concentrations of specific gases. Measurement usually takes between 4 seconds and 15 minutes. The tubes are used either manually with the Draeger-Tube Accuro Pump or automatically with the Draeger X-act 5000.
A wide range of different gases and vapours can be detected and measured, such as:
- Determining and measuring concentration peaks
- Measuring personal exposure in the inhalation area
- Detecting leaks in pipelines, gas installations etc.
- Air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces

Cresols are also indicated, but with different sensitivities. To determine m-cresol multiply the indication by 0.8. Benzene, toluene and other aromatics without the heteroatoms are not indicated. Aliphatic hydrocarbons and alcohols are not indicated. |

At a temperature of 0 °C the resulting indication must be multiplied by 1.3, at a temperature of 40 °C it must be multiplied by 0.8. |
