Petroleum Hydrocarbons Detection Tubes 100/a (10 - 2500 ppm)
For short-term measurements more than 160 Draeger-Tubes are available to measure the spot concentrations of specific gases. Measurement usually takes between 4 seconds and 15 minutes. The tubes are used either manually with the Draeger-Tube Accuro Pump or automatically with the Draeger X-act 5000.
A wide range of different gases and vapours can be detected and measured, such as:
- Determining and measuring concentration peaks
- Measuring personal exposure in the inhalation area
- Detecting leaks in pipelines, gas installations etc.
- Air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces

Many other petroleum hydrocarbons are indicated as well, but with different sensitivities. It is impossible to differentiate between them. Aromatics are indicated, but only with low sensitivities. Carbon monoxide is indicated in comparable concentrations with about half the sensitivity. |
