Toluene Diisocyanate Detection Tubes 0.02/A (0.02 - 0.2 ppm)
For short-term measurements more than 160 Draeger-Tubes are available to measure the spot concentrations of specific gases. Measurement usually takes between 4 seconds and 15 minutes. The tubes are used either manually with the Draeger-Tube Accuro Pump or automatically with the Draeger X-act 5000.
A wide range of different gases and vapours can be detected and measured, such as:
- Determining and measuring concentration peaks
- Measuring personal exposure in the inhalation area
- Detecting leaks in pipelines, gas installations etc.
- Air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces

No interference by:
- 5 ppm aniline
- 10 ppm benzylamine
- 5 ppm toluene
- 20 ppm benzene
- Mercaptans also discolor the indicating layer.

Before carrying out the measurement the lower reagent ampoule must be broken and the liquid transferred to the indication layer, so that it changes color to yellow. Next, the upper reagent ampoule must be broken and the liquid transferred to the indication layer, so that it returns to a white color. After performing 25 pump strokes wait 15 minutes before evaluating the indication. |
