Gastec Detector Tube No 102L is used for the detection of Hexane in the air of industrial areas and in environmental atmospheric conditions within the measuring range of 4-1200 ppm.

- Reaction Principle: CH3(CH2)4CH3 + CR6+ + H2SO4 → Cr3+
- Relative Standard Deviation: 10% (for 50 to 400 ppm), 5% (for 400 to 1200 ppm)
