Gastec Detection Tube No. 70 measures Methyl Mercaptan with a Range of 0.25 to 140 ppm.

- 0.25 to 2.5 ppm

- Number of Pump Strokes: 2 to 10, 1, 1/2
- Correction Factor: 1/2 to 1/10, 1, 2
- Sampling Time: 1.5 minutes per pump stroke
- Detecting Limit: 0.1 ppm (10 pump strokes)
- Changes from White to Yellow
- Corrections for temperature & humidity: Temperature correction is necessary
- Reaction Principle: 2CH3SH + PdSO4 → (CH3S)2Pd + H2SO4
- Coefficient of Variation: 10% (for 2.5 to 20 ppm), 5% (for 20 to 70 ppm)

- Store the tubes at cool and dark place.
