Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) Detection Tubes (0.05 to 10 ppm)
Gastec Detection Tube No. 5Lb measures Sulfur Dioxide with a Range of 0.05 to 10 ppm.
- Measuring Range:
- 0.05 to 0.1 ppm
- 0.1 to 0.2 ppm
- 0.2 to 5 ppm
- 5 to 10 ppm
- No. of Pump Strokes: 8, 4, 2, 1
- Correction Factor: 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2
- Sampling Time: 1 minute per pump stroke
- Detecting Limit: 0.01 ppm (8 pump strokes)
- Changes from Yellowish Green to Yellow
- Reaction Principle:
- SO2 + BaCl2 + H2O → BaSO3 + 2HCl
- HCl + Base → Chloride
- Relative Standard Deviation: 10 % (for 0.2 to 1 ppm), 5 % (for 1 to 5 ppm)
- 3 Year Shelf Life
- Store the tubes at cool and dark place.
- If sulfur dioxide coexists with carbon dioxide, an unclear demarcation will result. In this case, use No. 5LC detector tube.
