Chlorine ChromAir Chemical Exposure Monitoring Badges
Chlorine is used as a disinfection agent for water and surfaces, and in the production of many products including paper, dyestuffs and textiles. It is also used as a precursor in both the chemical and petroleum industries. Chlorine is highly corrosive both to equipment and people. Even mild exposure to chlorine gas will cause burning of the eyes, nose and mouth.
ChromAir Chlorine badges provide an immediate visual indication of exposure dose for chlorine. When exposed to chlorine, a color change forms, starting from the bottom, climbing up to the top in six cells. The highest cell with a color change indicates dose exposure level.
Features:
- Immediate on-site results
- Easy-to-read color changing indicators
- Direct-read exposure data with immediate response times for short-term measurements
- Measures TWA exposure
- Patented design minimizes effects of humidity and velocity
- Light-weight and cost effective for personnel and area monitoring
