Nextteq Detection Tube Carbon Tetrachloride with a range of 0.5 to 60 ppm. Other substance measurable with this detector tube is Chloropicrin (See table below).

• Reaction Principle:
  • CCl4 + I2O5 + H2S2O7 → COCl2 COCl2 + (CH3)2NC6 H4CHO→ (CH3)2NC6 H4Cl2 (CH3)2NC6 H4Cl2 + (C6H5)2NH → Yellow product
• Coefficient of Variation: 15% (for 2.5 to 20 ppm), 10% (for 20 to 60 ppm)
• 1 Year Shelf Life
• Store the tubes in the refrigerator to keep at 10ºC (50ºF) or below.
