- Hype-Wipes® killed C. Difficile Spores in four minutes in the presence of a 3-part organic soil load in testing at an independent lab. This newer testing method (in the presence of 3-part organic soil load) required Hype-Wipes® to produce a 6-log reduction of C. Difficile Spores in the presence of 3 different protein components (serum, mucin and yeast extract). To clean / disinfect against C. Difficile Spores, the pre-cleaning is required for all disinfectants.
- Tests at an independent lab confirmed that after a surface is wiped with one Hype-Wipe®, that surface remains wet for at least four minutes. Thus, one Hype-Wipe® provides sufficient bleach solution to kill C. Difficile Spores and other germs listed in the matrix above. Gravimetric weight and visual wetness tests were performed at an independent lab.
