IAFC's International Hazardous Materials Response Teams Conference is one of our favorite events of the year. We enjoy bringing a new and interesting array of hazmat equipment and connecting with new people at the various events like the HazmatNation party, which we help sponsor each year.
For 2022, our booth will feature technical detection equipment including radiation detectors from Teledyne FLIR and the RedWave Threat ID FTIR Spectrometer. We will also be showcasing a respirator washer from Georgia Steel, a Baltimore-based company.
Unmanned Aerial Systems are an up and coming topic in the world of detection. Accompanying us to IAFC is the DJI Matrice 300 drone with the MUVE C360 from FLIR. This combination is a game changer for identifying threats and monitoring chemical hazards remotely.
A key highlight for us this year is participating in a seminar entitled “Take Command of Your Response – Connected Safety for Hazmat Teams.” Steve Curry, an All Safe Industries hazmat training instructor, and the panel will address the issue of connected safety in the context of a hazmat team. This talk will be held on June 11th at 4:00pm in room Peal B.
With lots to learn and offer at this year’s IAFC Hazmat Conference, we hope you all choose to join us. Stay tuned for more updates and events happening with All Safe at IAFC!
